Tuesdays Contemporary Dance Classes 2027
With Laisvie Andrea Ochoa & Raúl Saldarriaga (Casagrafía)
A space for training, physical research, and composition guided by two experienced choreographers and teachers. Grounded in contemporary dance technique, floorwork, and the philosophy of sentipensar, these blocks invite dancers to explore movement through the spiral principle, going in and out of the floor with different dynamics and in connection to imagination.
Focus of the Classes
Floorwork & Spatial Levels: Developing fluid transitions between the floor, mid-level, and standing, using momentum, gravity, and efficient weight placement.
Body States & Energy Dynamics: Cultivating dynamic range by moving through distinct physical textures, rhythms, and energetic intensities.
Choreographic Exploration: As choreographers, Laisvie and Raúl approach movement research through composition—guiding participants to transform physical states into rich, expressive bodily landscapes.
