We are honored to announce that we have been invited to perform at the prestigious Gathered Together Festival in Scotland in September 2026, with our piece FOCARIS which unites the Colombian and Dutch cast of ConCuerpos.

Thanks to this invitation, the international travel costs are covered, which presents a golden opportunity to bring the work to the Netherlands.

Get a Glimpse of the Work

In 2025, ConCuerpos, Colombia’s pioneering inclusive dance company, joined forces with its new cast from the Netherlands to create FOCARIS International—an evocative work exploring fire as a symbol of inner strength, gathering, and transformation.

By integrating Sign Language and creative audio description directly into its choreography, the company works for equal access for d/Deaf and blind audiences while offering a rich sensory experience for all

Directed by Laisvie Ochoa and Diana León Guerrero, this innovative production blends movement, music, and visual design into a deeply human performance. The work premiered in Bogotá in October 2025 to massive acclaim and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the prestigious theatre TMJMSD from Bogota.

We Need Your Support!

The whole team of 13 people (9 form Colombia and 4 from NL) will be in the Netherlands from September 7th to September 12th, 2026. Because we are operating on a tight schedule we are actively looking for partners.

How you can help:

  • Funding & Grants: Do you know of any Dutch or European cultural funds, grants, or foundations that support inclusive arts or international exchange? Navigating a new funding landscape can be tricky, and we would highly appreciate any leads or connections to financial support to help make this tour a reality!

  • Venues & Theaters: Do you manage or know of an accesible theater space that would be interested in programming an innovative, universally accessible work? We are open to being included in season programming or discussing theater rental options!

  • Community Spaces: We don't just want to perform; we want to connect. We are highly interested in hosting workshops or creative laboratories to engage with the local community. If you have a space or a community group that would benefit, let’s talk!

  • We will be launching a crowdfunding campaign in May 2026, and we would highly appreciate your support.
