From the intersection of Sign Language and dance, choreographer Laisvie Ochoa delves into the complex terrain of loss—how it moves through the body, how it reshapes presence, and how it lingers in gesture. In a trio with Dennis Massar and Anneloes van Schuppen, the work unfolds as a visual language of movement that emerges from the meeting of absence and embodied memory.

Through this woven vocabulary, the piece seeks to honor what her mother left her: the traces of care, the echoes of stories, and the subtle inheritance of gestures passed down across time. The result is a quietly evocative journey that invites the audience to witness how loss can be transformed into connection, and how movement can hold what words alone cannot.
